How do I manage the devices that have access to my accounts?

Frequently Asked Question

Managing the devices connected to your accounts helps protect your finances and personal information. Each phone, tablet, or computer can be an entry point for unauthorized access if it’s lost, stolen, or compromised. Regularly reviewing and updating approved devices ensures only trusted technology can access your accounts, reducing the risk of fraud and unauthorized access.

You will be prompted for a Secure Access Code  whenever you log in to Online & Mobile Banking. To skip this step, register your phone, tablet, or computer as a trusted device.

You can manage these devices in Security Settings when you log into Online & Mobile Banking . If you are not enrolled in Online & Mobile Banking, click here to get started.

Access Your Security Settings

On desktop:

  1. Click the profile icon or your profile picture (upper right corner)
  2. Select Security
  3. Select the Devices tab

On mobile:

  1. Select Menu (bottom right corner)
  2. Select Settings, then Security
  3. Select the Devices tab

Non-mobile devices such as laptop or desktop computers will generally be identified by the operating system and location.

Mobile devices may be identified by your name and/or device type.

By clicking on the device name, you can:

  • View First and Last Seen dates
  • Rename the device (e.g., home computer, work computer)
  • Delete the device

On mobile devices, you can also enable or disable Push and Biometric Authentications.

Register a new device

First, ensure you have at least one verified phone number listed in your profile to receive a Secure Access Code by automated call or text. You’ll need this code to register a new device.

To update your contact information, log in to Online & Mobile Banking and follow the instructions  provided. If you’re unable to log in, updates must be made at a branch  or through Video Connect, as we cannot make these changes over the phone. Please have a valid ID ready.

When you log in for the first time on a new device, you will be able to register it at that time. Registering the device also allows you to enable push and two-factor authentication, and biometric log ins such as fingerprint/touch ID and Face ID.

Remember, biometric logins like Face ID or fingerprint are managed through your device settings. Make sure you’ve allowed the app to access these features if you want to use them to sign in.
