For category bonus rewards, merchants are assigned a merchant category code by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Mastercard procedures based on the kinds of products and services the merchant primarily sells. Citadel does not control the assignment of these codes and is not responsible for the codes used by merchants. You may expect a purchase to earn rewards within a category, but if the code assigned to the merchant isn’t within that category, your purchase will not qualify for the bonus points. In addition, some purchases made through third-party accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology may not qualify in a rewards category, depending on how the technology is set up to process the purchase.

If you are not currently a member, Citadel will open a savings account in your name upon approval and fund it with a $5 initial deposit. This savings account will give you access to a variety of Citadel’s products and services. If you have opened a Citadel credit card within the last 90 days you may not be approved for an additional credit card.

World Mastercard

Rewards Points: Rewards are earned on purchases minus any credits or returns (“net purchases”). Cash advances and balance transfers are not considered purchases and will not earn rewards. Earn 2 points for every $1 spent on hotels, restaurants, and airlines, and 1 point on every $1 spent on all other net purchases.

For Balance Transfers completed during the promotional period (January 20, 2026 through March 6, 2026) a Balance Transfer fee will be charged. Either $5 or 3% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater. This fee will be charged at the time of the transfer and added to your balance.

Post by Date: Your balance transfer must post to your account by March 6, 2026 for this promotional APR offer to apply. If the balance transfer posts to your account after that date, you will not receive the promotional APR. Instead, the standard APR for balance transfers will apply.

Balance Transfers may not be used to repay existing Citadel loan products.
