1 Fees: After 60 days, the $10 monthly service fee is waived if the average daily balance is $2,500 or more. A $5.00 monthly inactivity fee will apply if there is no activity on any Citadel account for one year—this fee is waived if combined balance of all deposit accounts is $500 or more. Inactivity is defined as a 365-day period during which there were no customer-initiated transactions on any Citadel account. Monthly service fee does not apply to any account held by a member under the age of 21.
2 Citadel offers several overdraft protection options including Courtesy Pay and automatic transfers from a Citadel savings or loan account. Courtesy Pay is offered on accounts with a primary member aged 18 and older after it has been opened 90 days and may pay overdrafts for the following types of transactions: checks, ACH withdrawals, Bill Payer payments, and/or recurring debit card transactions (e.g., monthly payments debited from your account. We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. Courtesy Pay is not provided on ATM withdrawals. If we do not pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined and not paid. If you want to use Courtesy Pay to pay overdrafts for one-time, everyday debit card transactions (e.g. Starbucks®, Home Depot®, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.), you must opt in and give us your permission. You can opt in using Online and Mobile Banking by selecting ‘More’ under ‘Menu', then ‘Overdraft Protection’ and ‘Courtesy Pay’; visiting any Citadel Branch; calling Citadel toll free at 800-666-0191. A Courtesy Pay Fee of $33 will be charged to your account, when we agree to pay an item that overdraws your checking account. We will limit the number of combined NSF and Courtesy Pay Fees charged on any one calendar day to 3. Once you have overdrawn your account you will need to bring the account to a positive balance as soon as possible. Citadel will close and charge off overdrawn member deposit accounts that have had a negative balance for more than 60 days. In the case of represented transactions, we may charge a Courtesy Pay fee if the transaction is paid but may not charge an NSF fee if the transaction is returned unpaid. For a complete list of fees associated with overdrafts, please refer to Citadel’s fee schedule. All standard account requirements apply.
