Citadel Heart of Learning Awards Announces 2016 Nominees

Topic: Community Citadel Heart of Learning Award

EXTON, PA – Citadel has announced the 2016 nominees for the Citadel Heart of Learning Awards. From this list 15 finalists, one teacher from each school district in Chester County, will go on to compete for the overall Citadel Heart of Learning Award for Elementary School, Middle School and High School levels. The winners will be announced at a banquet held in May at The Desmond, Great Valley. Each of the 15 finalists will receive a prize package including a $500 award to be used towards supplies and other classroom instructional expenses. The three overall winners will receive an additional $1,500.

The award was developed by Citadel and the Chester County Intermediate Unit in 2001 to recognize, reward and thank the outstanding teachers in Chester County. This year alone Citadel received over 2,700 entries for more than 1,200 teachers.
