What are Citadel’s wire transfer options?

Frequently Asked Question

Citadel provides Wire Transfer services, Domestic and International, to members to send and receive funds. Wire transfers requests may be done in-person at any branch, or through Citadel Video Connect, and we require members to answer a few questions to ensure the security of each transaction. Download our Wire Transfer Information sheet here and view our different wire transfer options below:

Released Wire Funds

Generally, domestic wires entered by 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, are released and credited to the destination account on the same business day but are never guaranteed. If a wire is entered after 1:00 p.m. it may be sent on the next business day. Wires do not transfer on Federal Holidays or weekends.

Foreign Wires

Foreign wire requests in foreign currency cannot be accepted after close of business due to foreign currency fluctuations and mandated disclosures. After hours includes evenings, weekends and holidays.

Citadel is able to accept foreign wires after close of business in US Dollar (USD) since it is not dependent on a currency exchange rate.

Wire Requests $5,000 or Greater

Citadel is able to process wire transfers for $5,000 or greater, but will require additional identity verification.
