When are Bill Payer payments made? When are funds withdrawn from my checking account?

When you use Bill Payer to make a payment, payment dates and when the money is withdrawn from your checking account depends on the method of payment. In general, the following applies:

Electronic Payments:

• The Send Date is the day the funds are withdrawn and payment sent. Electronic payments will be delivered within 1 business day
• Funds will be deducted from your checking account on the Send Date you select, so be sure to review your payment dates when setting up a new payment

Check Payments:

• The Send Date is the day the check will be mailed to the biller. The money will be withdrawn from your checking account when the biller cashes the check
• Check payments should be delivered within 5 business days, subject to US Mail for delivery. Payments are also dependent on biller processing time
• If a payment is sent by check, funds will be deducted from your account when the check clears
