Can Citadel stop or reverse a Bill Payer payment?

Whether or not a Bill Payer payment can be stopped or reversed depends on the type of payment and the biller. In general:

• Once a payment has been sent electronically, Citadel cannot stop or reverse the payment. You must contact the biller to resolve this issue
• If payment has been sent by paper check, you can request a stop payment on a check that has not been received and/or cashed by a biller. There may be a fee for this service

If the check has been cashed, you must contact the biller to resolve this issue.
