Can I transfer funds to another Citadel member in Online and Mobile Banking?
Frequently Asked Question
Yes, you can easily transfer funds to any Citadel member. There’s no fee to use this service, and you can do it right from your desktop or in the mobile app. If you’re not already signed up, you will need to enroll in Online & Mobile Banking.
If you have the recipient’s information, skip to the instructions for transfer.
Before Making a Transfer
The recipient does not need to be enrolled in Online & Mobile Banking to receive the transfer, but you will need some information from them to send it. There are two options: using account information or using a Member to Member (M2M) code. The recipient will need to be enrolled in Online & Mobile Banking to create an M2M code.
Transfer using an account number
The receiving member does not need to be enrolled in Online & Mobile Banking, but you will need to be enrolled to send the funds. You will need the following from the other member to transfer the funds:
- The recipient’s member account number with account suffix (e.g. 1234567-S000)
- The type of account (checking, savings, loan, etc.)
- The member’s last name or full business name
Transfer using a Member to Member (M2M) code
Both you and the receiving member will need to be enrolled in Online & Mobile banking to create and use the M2M codes for transfers. Instead of using account numbers and names, simply enter the code created by the receiving member and transfer the funds.
Please note that only Citadel members can create and use M2M codes. Codes cannot be used with external accounts.
