Microsoft Pay can be used to make in-store payments at most merchants equipped with NFC contactless payment terminals.


  • To make an in-store payment, simply hold your eligible Windows phone near the contactless payment terminal to wake up Microsoft Pay and enter your PIN to unlock the device.
  • The card you selected as your default will be displayed on-screen.
  • When you are ready to make a payment, simply hold your unlocked phone near the contactless payment terminal.
  • A confirmation message on the payment terminal will let you know your purchase was successful.
