How far in advance can I schedule a payment?

There’s no limit to how far in advance you can schedule a Bill Payer payment, but in general, a minimum of 2-5 business days before your payment due date is recommended.

The minimum number of days can vary by biller or payee. When scheduling payments, look below the Send Date to see how many days to allow for delivery. Paper checks are mailed to payees or billers who cannot accept electronic payment. Checks may take several days to reach their destination, so you may want to send these payments earlier to avoid a late fee.
