Citadel Credit Union Appoints Chief Retail Officer

EXTON, Pa., October 24, 2024 Citadel Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucia “Lucy” Bellomia as the company’s Chief Retail Officer. Lucy will lead our Retail and Business Banking teams, Contact Center—including inbound, outbound, and video—and a newly forming “Branch Administration” team.
Before joining Citadel, Lucy was Head of Retail Banking and Small Business at Berkshire Bank, overseeing numerous business units. Her key accomplishments included streamlining business efficiencies, introducing new technologies, and improving customer service through training and increased automation. She also chaired the bank’s Deposit and Risk Committees and was active in many others.
Lucy brings considerable leadership experience throughout her 25 years in finance, driving improvements in retail banking and performance at organizations including Bank of America and Police & Fire Credit Union. Her proven ability to pilot strategic planning and execute effectively will help us foster an environment of continuous innovation and improvement at Citadel.
