Coming Soon: Enhanced Digital Banking

We’re launching a major upgrade designed to empower you with the tools you need to build financial strength. Introducing Citadel Business Banking

Citadel Credit Union officially launched its new Business Banking division on August 1. To expand upon existing offerings for business members, we’re proud to officially introduce our new team and full suite of Business Banking products and services to the local business community.

Comprehensive options include a variety of flexible checking and savings accounts, certificates, business loans, commercial mortgages, online banking tools, and Cash Management Solutions.

To support this launch, you’ll notice a new Business section on our website with information, tools, and resources specifically for business members. The existing content for personal banking remains in a separate Personal tab, so you still have access to all your banking, saving, and borrowing needs.

Mobile App Update: Easier Access to the Links You Need

Good news! We’ve updated our mobile banking app to include a thumb bar for your Quick Links. With this change, you'll have easier access to account management tools and features.

Starting on December 1, you’ll find that the Quick Links on the Citadel Mobile App that were originally featured at the top of your screen have been moved to the bottom into a thumb bar menu. These links include Home, Transfer Funds, Pay a Bill, Deposit a Check, and Menu.

The new location of Quick Links makes it easier for you to access your accounts. As always, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to improve your user experience. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Now Live: Website Enhancements

We’re excited to announce a few changes to the Citadel website!  You'll notice a new look-and-feel on the homepage, in addition to the new features listed below! 

  • Online & Mobile Banking Login: The login will remain at the top of our website, in the same location, along with search. However, the login box will now display larger so you can enter your credentials or get help with access, just as you do today.
  • New navigation for Business Banking: Intuitive navigation for quick, easy access to both Personal and Business products and services.
  • Customer Support: Access frequently searched items like Citadel’s routing number, Branch Hours, Video Connect, Locations, Rates and Customer Support.
  • Enhanced Mobile Experience: Streamlined mobile experience with optimized navigation for your mobile device.
  • Financial Wellness: We’ve added featured articles to help build your financial strength.

The homepage URL ( will not change, and none of the existing pages or tools will be removed.

Introducing Teen Debit Accounts

When it’s time for your teenager to get an intro to everyday spending, you can start strong with a free debit card that’s all their own. Citadel’s Teen Debit Accounts are designed to encourage teachable moments and help families practice spending and saving together.

Starting at age 13, teens are eligible for their own account with joint ownership shared by a parent or guardian. You can easily setup direct deposit for paychecks from a summer job, or send and receive payments from friends and family when you connect the card to cash apps like Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.

  • Push Notifications for Security Alerts: In addition to text and email, members will now have the option of enrolling in push notifications for all security alerts.
  • Mobile Quick Balance: Once opted into this feature, members will have the ability to view up to 5 account balances prior to logging into the mobile application.
  • Improved connectivity when adding or accessing Money Manager accounts: Enhancements have been made so that members should experience less errors and aggregation issues when viewing accounts that are linked via Money Manager.

Other UX improvements:

  • Ability to nickname an account from account history on the Details tab.
  • Added option for Money Manager users to unlink all accounts at a linked Financial Institution in the Details tab.
  • Group Management controls available on the Account Overview page allows members to create or edit a group name, as well as move or collapse a group.
  • Text banking settings available on the Details & Settings tab.
  • Updated Quick Transfer workflow that allows for members to include a memo field and the ability to change the transfer date
  • Updated ability to upload and download attachment on mobile devices via Secure Messages.

How do I create a nickname for my accounts in Online & Mobile Banking?

You can easily set nicknames for all of your accounts in Online and Mobile Banking. Nicknames display on your Account Overview screen and help you identify accounts more quickly and easily!

Follow these quick steps to set up nicknames:

  • Navigate to the account you'd like to make a nickname for, in the details tab select the edit button in the 'Account Nickname' field.
  • Enter a new name and click save when you are finished!
How do I enroll for Mobile Banking?

Simply download the app from the Google Play or iTunes store and click the enroll option.
