Account Alerts Overview

Citadel Account Alerts are the perfect tool to help you manage your account, giving you peace of mind when you’re on-the-go. Sign up to receive personalized debit or credit card transaction notifications via email or text alert. Account Alerts monitor your account every 10 minutes for new activity, ensuring you have real-time account information right at your fingertips.

  • Flexible - Enjoy the flexibility of personalizing your alert setting. Choose to have each Account Alert sent to multiple email addresses or mobile numbers. You can also set up different alerts for each account you manage in Online and Mobile Banking.
  • Easy - Setting up Account Alerts is quick and easy. Save time by choosing the Default Alert Settings. Simply add your email address or phone number to receive alerts.
  • Secure - You control how much information is sent to you. Simply select the level of detail you would like when you set up your alert. You can choose to see no, some, or the full details. You can also log in to view your full transaction details.

How to Get Started

  1. Log In to Online Banking or the Mobile Banking app.
  2. Select 'Accounts' from the main menu. Then select 'Account Alerts.'
  3. Choose the type of alerts you would like to enroll in.
  4. Follow the prompts to start receiving alerts.

Choose how you get notified and when you want. You can customize whether you receive alerts by email or text message, the time of day you receive alerts, and the level of detail provided in your alerts. Choose from over 30 account, card, deposit, loan, and transaction alerts, such as:

Prevent Card Fraud with Automated Two-Way Alerts

Manage your account activity and identify potentially fraudulent transactions on your debit or credit card. When you provide us with your mobile number, we’ll automatically sign you up to receive automated fraud alerts to your mobile device.

How it works:

  • You’ll receive a text or pre-recorded voice call when there’s a suspicious transaction identified on your credit or debit card.
  • Simply reply to the text to confirm whether or not you recognize the transaction.


    • If don’t recognize the transaction, you’ll receive a text response asking you to call us. A block will be placed on your card to protect from additional fraudulent transactions until you’re able to call our Fraud Detection Team.
    • If you recognize the transaction, your card will remain available for use.
