What is the minimum credit score Citadel will consider?

What are the requirements if I am self-employed?

Generally the rule requires 2 years of tax returns.

Is gift money an acceptable source of down payment?

Yes, a relative can gift the down payment and closing costs for most programs.

Does Citadel offer loans without monthly PMI for borrowers with less than 20% down?

Yes, we offer 80/15/5 and 80/10/10 loans to qualified borrower.

What is the maximum amount Citadel will lend for a home equity line of credit?

We will finance up to 90% of the value of your home as determined by an electronic evaluation of the property for primary residence and 80% for second homes.

How long does a homeowner need to own the home before additional equity can be borrowed? 

To consider a value higher than the purchase price for purposes of taking equity from the home, the property must be owned for at least 1 year from the settlement date.

Can closing costs be financed?

Yes, we offer products that closing costs can be included in the loan.
