Does Citadel offer a Skip-A-Pay program?
Frequently Asked Question
Citadel does offer a Skip-a-Pay program. Your account may qualify for Citadel's "Skip-a-Pay" program to skip one month's payment on your loan. To find out if your loan is qualified, do the following:
- Simply contact us at least 5 days prior to the due date of your next payment.
- If you have an automated payment arrangement set up with a different financial institution, you'll need to cancel your payment to Citadel from that financial institution for that month only. If your automated payment arrangement is set up with Citadel, please ask a Citadel representative what steps, if any, need to be taken to defer that arrangement for one month.
- Once you're enrolled, a $35 processing fee will be deducted from your Citadel savings account or checking account. Please make certain the $35 is available in your Citadel account so the skip can take place.
