Citadel Announces 15 Finalists for the Citadel Heart of Learning Award

The Citadel Heart of Learning Awards is pleased to announce the 15 finalists for the Citadel Heart of Learning Awards:

The Citadel Heart of Learning Awards is a collaborative awards program created by Citadel and the Chester County Intermediate Unit, to recognize and thank Chester County teachers for their dedication to their students, schools and communities.  This year, we received over 2,500 nominations!

The 15 finalists represent each of the public school districts in Chester County, one teacher from the Chester County Intermediate Unit and one teacher from a Chester County non-public school, which also includes charter and home schools.  The finalists each receive $500 to use in their classrooms.  From these 15 finalists, three winners (one high school, one middle school and one elementary school teacher) will be awarded with the Citadel Heart of Learning Award and an additional $1,500.  The three winners will be announced on the evening of May 10th.

Citadel Announces “Schools with Heart” Winners

The Citadel Heart of Learning Awards is pleased to announce the three winning schools for the “Schools with Heart” contest.

1st Place: Coatesville Area High School – $1500
2nd Place: Rainbow Elementary School – $750
3rd Place: Oxford Area High School – $500

The Citadel Heart of Learning Awards is a collaborative awards program created by Citadel and the Chester County Intermediate Unit, to recognize and thank Chester County teachers for their dedication to their students, schools and communities. The “Schools with Heart” contest awards the schools with the highest number of nominations submitted. The monetary prize rewards students for their hard work and for taking the opportunity to recognize their teachers.
